Extracting Data for Capital Grant Applications
This page has been designed to assit you in extracting some of the data you require when filling out a Capital Grant Aid Scheme Application form for Voluntary Village Halls and Community Centre Projects. The step by step guide below will assist you in your navigation of finding out the Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) and the Sub-domain Geographical barriers scores.
Firstly it is advised that you either print this page, or copy and paste the step by step instructions into another application (for example: Microsoft Word). This is simply because step 1 will navigate you away from this page.
Step by Step Guide:1.) Within the 'Quick Profiles' box (top right of this page), please enter your establishments postcode (e.g. the postcode of a village hall) and click 'Go'. - This should navigate you to a 'Select a Quick Profile' option page.
2.) From the 'Select a Quick profile' page, select the 'Lower Layer Super Output Area (LSOA)' in which your postcode of interest is located. - This should navigate you to a 'General Profile' for your selected LSOA.
3.) From the 'General Profile' and using the report section options (displayed in purple), select 'Indices of Deprivation 2007'. - This should navigate you to the 'Indices of Deprivation' section of the 'General Profile'.
4.) From the 'Indices of Deprivation 2007' section, select the 'View a related profile' option. - This should navigate you to the 'Indices of Deprivation profile'.
5.) From the 'Indices of Deprivation profile' and using the report section options (displayed in purple), select 'What does the ID 2007 tell us at LSOA level?'
6.) From the table titled - 'Indices of Deprivation (ID) 2007 - Scores', you will find the Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) and the Sub-Domain: Geographical Barriers Scores.
