Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA)

JSNA

Norfolk's Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) is an ongoing programme of work carried out by Norfolk County Council working in partnership with NHS Norfolk and Great Yarmouth and Waveney Primary Care Trust.

The JSNA explores the health and wellbeing of people living in Norfolk. It is a collection of information and covers the whole population of Norfolk. It looks at simple issues such as how many people live in the County and their age and sex. It looks at the kinds of services people already use and services they might need in the future. These include those provided by, for example, GPs, dentists, maternity services, our local hospitals and adult social care services. The information contained in the JSNA will be used to help identify health and social care priorities and plan well for the future.
